Beyond the Star-Spangled Banner: 

O Canada 

While the Star-Spangled Banner has long been a staple of Marissa Menéndez's performance repertoire, she recently had the honor of expanding her horizons at the St. Louis CITY SC match against Toronto FC. For the first time, Marissa performed the Canadian National Anthem, "O Canada," live for a stadium crowd.  

Marissa's journey as an anthem singer has taken her to incredible venues across the region, from the dirt tracks of local car shows to the diamond at Gateway Grizzlies baseball games and her two-year residency on the racing circuit at Fairmount Park. She also had the privilege of stepping onto the pitch for several Major League Soccer matches, including the unforgettable experience of singing for St. Louis CITY SC's 2026 home opener. Grounded by the honor of winning the Star-Spangled Sing-Off for the state of Missouri and advancing to the national stage, adding "O Canada" to Marissa's active professional roster is a thrilling continuation of her deep love for stadium traditions.
